Irma Ambauen

Irma has been with Kaufmann Rüedi Attorneys-at-Law for over nine years. She specializes in national and international arbitration, litigation before state courts, and mediation. Irma regularly serves as an arbitrator, mediator, party representative, and expert on Swiss private law. She also advises companies on data protection and compliance matters.

Irma studied at the Universities of Lucerne and Geneva, earning her doctorate in arbitration in 2016. She is the author of numerous publications, including co-authoring the commentary on international arbitration in the Handkommentar zum Schweizer Privatrecht.

Additionally, Irma is co-head of the ASA Local Group Central Switzerland and has been a member of the Lucerne Bar Examination Commission since 2018.
